Soho Neighbourhood Card 

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the entire Neighbourhood Card Scheme (the “Scheme”) and the use of the Neighbourhood Card. Any membership of or participation in the Scheme or use of the Neighbourhood Card will be treated as acceptance of these Terms.  

These Terms set out the terms of the agreement between Shaftesbury Carnaby PLC and Shaftesbury Soho Limited (together, “Shaftesbury Capital”), the participating retailers and holders of the Neighbourhood Card. Shaftesbury reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time.  

  1. The Neighbourhood Card is free of charge for residents and/or those who work  in Soho under the postcodes W1D and W1F.  All members of the Scheme must be aged 18 years or over.  
  2. The Neighbourhood Card is only valid in Carnaby and Soho branches of participating retailers. Details of participating retailers and restaurants can be found on the This Is Soho website here. The list of participants is subject to change from time to time, without notice. Please check either of the above pages for current participants. 
  3. Holders of a Neighbourhood Card may receive 10% off the full purchase price in participating retailers (and any other benefits as notified to the members from time to time) on showing their Neighbourhood Card at the point of purchase 
  4. To apply for a Neighbourhood Card, please visit here and complete the application form. Once you have received a confirmation notification, your Neighbourhood Card can be collected from the Carnaby Security Office (north end of the 2nd floor of Kingly Court) from Monday-Friday (2pm-4pm only). Please bring a copy of the confirmation notification with you for validation.
  5. The Neighbourhood Card must be presented at the time of purchase and is only applicable for in-store purchases. 
  6. The Neighbourhood Card may only be used by the authorised signatory. Cardholders may be asked to provide proof of identity at the time of purchase. 
  7. The Neighbourhood Card can only be used on full priced merchandise and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or card schemes. 
  8. Where you request a refund (under the terms and conditions of the retailer’s refund policy) in relation to a purchase made with a Neighbourhood Card, you must present your Neighbourhood Card. 
  9. The Neighbourhood Card does not guarantee entry into the premises of any participating retailer. Management of participating premises reserve the right to refuse admission. 
  10. The Neighbourhood Card remains the property of Shaftesbury Capital at all times and Shaftesbury Capital reserves the right to withdraw the Neighbourhood Card scheme at any time and for any reason. In the event of such withdrawal, Shaftesbury will confirm the last date for use of the Neighbourhood Card on carnaby.co.uk and thisissoho.co.uk. 
  11. Your Neighbourhood Card may be cancelled at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, fraud or a breach of these terms. You will be notified by email in the event that your Neighbourhood Card is cancelled, such notification taking effect immediately. 
  12. It is your responsibility to notify sohoneighbourhoodcard@shaftesburycapital.com of any change of name, address and e-mail. 
  13. In the event of loss of your Neighbourhood Card you will be responsible for notifying sohoneighbourhoodcard@shaftesburycapital.com, who will issue you with a replacement Neighbourhood Card on proof of membership. 
  14. Neighbourhood Cards cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded. 
  15. The Scheme is managed by Shaftesbury Capital, 14 James Street, London WC2E 8BU. Any cardholder enquiries should be addressed to sohoneighbourhoodcard@shaftesburycapital.com.

  17. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.  
  18. A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.
